After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura. En-route visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage – a unique sanctuary in the world for orphaned elephants. Afternoon visit Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first ancient capital from 1st century B.C. to 10th century A. D.

SIGIRIYA/ POLONNARUWA/ SIGIRIYA – 65 KM - 1hr
After early breakfast climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress - declared as the 8th wonder of the ancient world. Afternoon visit ruins of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s 2nd Kingdom – popularly known as the medieval capital.

SIGIRIYA/ DAMBULLA/ MATALE/ KANDY– 95 KM – 2 ½ hrs
After breakfast leave for Kandy as early as possible visiting Dambulla Cave Temple – famous for wall & ceiling paintings. Visit a Spice garden & a Batik factory on the way to Kandy. In the evening witness the Cultural show including Fire-walking.
